Mrs. Smith's Biology Class

     Welcome to Mrs. Smith's Biology class. My name is Sharon M. Smith. As your Biology teacher, I am very excited to have you and the support of your parents/guardians in my class this semester.

     Just a little bit about me. I have a B.S. degree in Food Science from Penn State University. Go Lions! In May of 2006, I earned my Master's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Biology from Salisbury University. I have been the SADD Advisor, Students Against Destructive Decisions, for the past 3 years. Our club's mission statement is to promote and model good responsible choices that are life savors among the student body.

     In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy boating, the beach, walks, playing with our cats, and great BBQ outings with close family and friends.

     As I enter my 7th year of teaching at SDHS, I look forward to a fun and positive learning environment this semester. Please do not hestitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Parents/Guardians please come and visit anytime. My classroom door is always open!
